I'm glad I was able to save a few dollars and only purchase the Back-up Valve Case Kit as that it is what was broken.
Got what i ordered for 1/2 the price of the pool store. Delivered faster than estimated. The Polaris is now working just as it should.
The Polaris back up valve case was a perfect replacement for my old valve that had turned brittle after years of service. My only complaint - the retainer ring on the new valve was difficult to loosen. I finally soaked it in hot water and used a strap wrench to remove the retaining ring. I then installed the old gear assembly into the new case and the cleaner is back in service. Thanks to Poolzoom for their quick shipment and great price.
After 5 years of use this piece cracked - I only had to replace the outer piece so this was perfect and saved me money on an entire component.
