- Polaris 280 Rebuild Kit Instructions|
The kit is missing some parts for a complete rebuild. It does not include the o rings on the input tube, missing a clip for the tail and missing the jet o ring and bracket. These should all be included along with the instructions amended with how to replace them. I acquired these separately. Breaking down the unit to this level allows for better cleaning of all the parts and a complete rebuild. At this price I don’t see why Polaris left this out. Very cheap minded in my opinion.
Kit contained all the pool cleaner factory original replacement wear parts, and more! Nice to have the cleaner restored to new performance condition.

Polaris rebuild kit is a good investment over a total new Polaris - always pricey, but in my opinion far better than cheap replacement parts found on the internet
I wanted an OEM tune-up kit for my Polaris 280. That is exactly what I received. Installation was easy.
This tuneup kit got my 280 cleaner back to cleaning the pool like when it was new. Mine had stripped out the shaft and one of the wheels on the right side. At first I was going to go with a cheaper aftermarket kit but I’m so glad I went with this OEM factory tuneup kit
all the parts you need and clear instructions. have used this factory tune up kit three times now over the past years to basically rebuild my polaris pool sweep. whole process takes less than an hour. tuned up pool sweep works sooo much better.
