Installation was easy. I watched my pool store guys do it the last time it was replaced. I do have a small harbor freight press to remove and install the pump shaft fixed seal. I had to replace the flex conduit (20+ years old) that provides the power to motor. Wiring was okay after applying some shrink tubing over a some questionable spots. Bought the seal kit as well. Back up working like new now.
