These unions are made of heat tolerant CPVC, which will not shrink and cause suction leaks if your pump over heats. Perfect for Pentair Whisperflo, IntelliFlo Challenger pumps.

High quality and makes pump install a breeze.
These pump unions are the best for plumbing pool equipment. There are two advantages: 1) they put no outward pressure on tapered female threads, thereby reducing the potential of a cracked housing at the threads; 2) they can be taken apart at the union without disturbing the O-ring seal at the equipment to allow disassembly and reassembly of the piping very easily.
