Hayward Top Closure Dome, Pro Series

There are six 'pegs' on the underside of the dome; I assume they serve to anchor the dome into the filter opening. Initially, the dome set squarely into the opening, but there was a small amount of leaking at the clamp closure screws. I tighten the hardware, but then heard a 'snapping' sound, and the leaking increased from a trickle to a stream at both clamp screw locations. I removed the dome and noticed that one of the anchor pegs had snapped off. Without these, the dome is useless, and I am trying to make my old dome work-without much success!
