Part fit per OEM and I think actually works better than the original in that it is capturing the fine sediment we get from wind blown dust and sand

With this Ultra fine filter, I can now get those small POLLEN, and ALGAE spores out of my pool. The nice thing is, when you vacuum them out, that is less Pentair Pool filter cleanings. If the pool is full of spores, I have to empty the filter, more than once. It's still easier than taking the main filter apart, hosing the cartridges, lubricating the "O," rings, putting everything back together-so happy!!!

Disappointed and hope I am wrong, if I am, I'll re write. I received the gray frame filter not the black frame which is the fine filter. If I am wrong? Replace and I will re rite a positive review.

The sand silt filter basket does a good job. You do have to be gentle with it since the fabric is very fine which can tear up easily. My previous 2 lasted for about a year and a half of normal use. The filter is original equipment, no quality or fit issues.

Have had the cleaner for 2 years and have gone through $50 baskets. The screen parts from the plastic edges. Basically the seams come apart and all the dirt goes through the bag and back into the pool.
